About

Mike Ridgewell has spent over 30 years on the client side, including senior leadership positions at Disney, where he built and ran the Disney Movie Rewards loyalty programme from launch. By the time he left, it had grown to 14 million members across 11 countries and driven millions of incremental transactions, with member satisfaction consistently above 90%.

In 2020, Mike founded Denmark Street Marketing to bring that same client-side perspective to growth-stage B2B and B2C brands, offering senior marketing leadership without full-time overhead or agency bureaucracy. His focus is customer retention, loyalty, and growth, built on the belief that most marketing problems aren't effort problems; they're clarity problems.

Mike writes about what actually works in customer retention, loyalty marketing, and growth strategy, drawing on three decades of lessons from Disney, Fortune 500 companies, and the SMB and Enterprise-level executives he works with today.

No ownership of the back half of the customer journey. No clear tracking across the digital ecosystem. And in some cases, the wrong...
