I began working with Mike when the agency I worked for, ePrize (Now HelloWorld) was tapped to help design and build the original Disney Movie Rewards program. I was the strategy lead on the agency side. Immediately upon starting the project, Mike made us feel like true partners. Mike worked for me from 2004-2014 as part of the Consumer Engagement and Direct-to-Consumer Marketing team at the Walt Disney Studio.
During that time, we partnered to develop and launch the Studio’s first consumer loyalty program, Disney Movie Rewards (DMR) — which has grown to more than 11MM members. Mike leveraged his previous D2C experience to increase customer acquisition, improve email open and response rates, and execute direct tests to optimize offers and promotions. He eventually took over day-to-day management of DMR and still runs the program today.

I first met Mike when he came to Disney's Worldwide Direct Marketing group and we jumped in together to develop in-pack consumer content and engagement materials. From there it turned into many compelling years of successful D2C collaborations that add up to my highest recommendation. He's much more than the sum of everything written about him here (I heartily agree with his colleagues), and among the best I've ever worked with in my long career.
